CHA is developing guidance for hospitals across the state to integrate policies and practices that enhance collaboration between clinical staff and doulas as they work together to care for birthing people. This repository of resources is helping to inform the ongoing project.
Doulas provide continuous, nonclinical support that enhances communication and comfort, while licensed clinicians maintain full responsibility for medical decision-making and interventions when clinically indicated. Download and share this infographic to learn more.
