Connecticut hospitals are there when we need them, providing high-quality care for everyone who walks through their doors, regardless of their ability to pay. The value of hospitals transcends the essential medical and surgical care they provide within their four walls. They are dynamic, complex organizations working to build a healthier Connecticut — bolstering the state’s healthcare system, communities, and economy.

Connecticut Hospitals Today highlights the many indispensable contributions of hospitals, examines the key challenges they face, and offers a primer on hospital finance and  hospitals’ fiscal condition.
