PROUD: Trauma-Informed Care Summer Webinar Series – Understanding Trauma and Its Impact on Patient-Provider Engagement 7/8/25

July 8, 2025 @ 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.

This webinar supports providers in better understanding the impact of trauma, specifically complex trauma, on the patient provider engagement. A brief overview of complex trauma will be provided followed by ways in which trauma reminders can be activated for both patients and providers within services. This understanding will better equip providers in increasing awareness of how trauma presents in their supportive spaces as well as within their own internal experiences. A review of nervous system regulation will also be offered to equip providers with the understanding of how integral nervous system regulation is for both patients and providers. Experiential practice will be offered in order for providers to have tangible tools to integrate in their work.
