Healthcare Leaders Unpack Impact of H.R. 1 and Federal Policy Changes

On Wednesday, October 15, the Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives (CTAHE) is hosting a panel discussion at the Connecticut Hospital Association (CHA) in Wallingford to examine the implications of H.R. 1, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA).  This next installment of CTAHE’s “Breakfast With Leaders Series” brings together voices from hospitals and health systems, insurance companies, policy experts, and federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) to explore how to navigate policy shifts, payment reforms, and operational challenges.

Panelists include CHA Senior Vice President of Policy Paul Kidwell, Yale New Haven Health President Pamela Sutton-Wallace, Hartford HealthCare Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Bimal Patel, and Community Health Center Association of Connecticut (CHC/ACT) CEO Shawn Frick, as well as representatives from global consulting groups BRG and Robinson & Cole.

CTAHE represents professionals who manage the business affairs of healthcare organizations throughout the state.  Organization membership comprises hospitals, health plans, health systems, independent physician associations, industry partners, and universities.  CTAHE is a chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), an international professional society of more than 40,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems, and other healthcare organizations.
