Join the Connecticut Hospital Association (CHA) for this engaging in-person learning event, where participants will explore the impact of trauma exposure on the overall health and well-being of patients and providers from an intergenerational lens. Presentations will focus on key strategies to integrate culturally informed frameworks and trauma-informed care models into the care hospitals deliver to their patients. Topics to be covered include:
- Assessing Risk and Protective Factors with an Integrative Trauma-Informed Approach to Care
- Intersection of Pregnancy, Trauma, Mental Health, and Substance Use Disorders
- Body Movement Strategies
This workshop will serve as the kick-off event for the 2025 PROUD Summer Webinar Series, which will include opportunities for providers to learn from additional practitioners already applying a trauma-informed approach to care in clinical and non-clinical settings to support overall whole-person care.
This workshop is designed to meet the needs of professionals working with patients who have experienced trauma, including those recovering from opioid and other use disorders.
