Yale study finds veterans’ suicide risk tracks with social factors

A recent study led by researchers at the School of Medicine and National Center for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD, examined the cumulative burden of social determinants of health on suicide risk in American veterans. Those factors — the conditions in which people grow live, work and age — were found to strongly effect suicide risk.
