New Haven high schoolers gain experience at Yale Center for Healthcare Simulation

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Freshmen from Career, Wilbur Cross and Hillhouse High Schools in New Haven stepped into the shoes of medical professionals on Wednesday at the Yale Center for Healthcare Simulation.

On the field trip to the center, students got a chance to see the many roles of doctors, nurses and first responders. This was part of an effort to recruit local students for Yale’s Simulation Academy throughout the school year.
