Majority of striking NYC nurses secure tentative contracts

The largest nurses strike in New York City history saw tentative agreements reached Feb. 8–9 to end the strike for about 10,500 nurses at Montefiore, Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai Morningside and West, according to a news release from the New York State Nurses Association. The agreements still require ratification, while about 4,200 nurses at NewYork‑Presbyterian continue to strike.
