Hartford HealthCare is continuing to expand its urgent care footprint across the state with two new facilities in central and eastern Connecticut.

The Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth network has opened locations in Willimantic, at 1315 Main St., and Ellington, at 135 West Road.

The joint venture now has 35 urgent care centers across Connecticut, HHC announced.

The new Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth Urgent Care centers, which are open 365 days a year, offer treatment for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, on-site X-ray services and diagnostic testing.

Atlantia-based GoHealth Urgent Care is owned by private equity firm TPG Growth, which has $239 billion in assets under management, according to the company’s website.

GoHealth has been expanding its footprint across the U.S. by partnering with local medical centers. GoHealth now has more than 250 urgent care facilities across the U.S., according to its website.

In addition to Hartford HealthCare, GoHealth has a partnership with Nuvance Health, which owns Danbury, New Milford, Sharon and Norwalk hospitals in Connecticut.

Nuvance Health-GoHealth Urgent Care has three sites in Connecticut in Danbury, Stamford and Norwalk.

Nuvance Health is currently seeking state approval to merge with New York-based Northwell Health.
