Cost of health insurance in Connecticut could skyrocket if Congress does not act

Some Connecticut families could see an increase of $3,000 per year for health coverage if legislation is not passed soon. Enhanced subsidies created through the 2021 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and extended through the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) have made health insurance coverage more affordable and accessible for millions of Americans enrolled in federal or state-based marketplaces like Access Health CT (AHCT).
