Blood donations are needed across Connecticut as summer ‘trauma season’ begins

As temperatures rise during the coming weeks and months, the need for blood donations across Connecticut is spiking too.

The Connecticut Blood Center serves as the primary supplier of lifesaving blood to more than a dozen hospitals, EMS and healthcare partners in the state.
