This training is only open to CHA Patient Safety Organization Members.

Fundamental to every HRO is the need to encourage robust error and event reporting supported by clear lines between acceptable and unacceptable behavior. Building a culture of psychological safety is key to success and that does not happen in the classroom; it is created by building trust in leadership among administrative staff and clinicians.  This emerges from standardized processes, and consistent and concrete – not abstract – leadership behaviors, including a fair and just response approach to performance deviations, where unintentional human errors are not punished, but choices to act recklessly are met with clear and fair consequences.

The second session in this five-part senior leader series is virtual and presented by Press Ganey’s Steve Kreiser and Greg Prentiss.
