Uncasville high schoolers donate to mothers, newborns in need at local hospital

NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTNH) — What started as a high school project has turned into a non-profit to help families in need, and students donated to New London’s Lawrence + Memorial Hospital on Tuesday.

Three students at Saint Bernard High School in Uncasville created “Little Blessings” about four years ago. Now, founding student Olivia Gionet, alongside classmates Anna Kate and Sarah O’Donnell, has collected over $20,000 through donation drives. The mission is to support families in need.
