CT-funded SNAP program not included in Lamont budget proposal

Despite calls by some lawmakers for the creation of a state-funded SNAP program to make up for federal cuts to the food assistance program, Gov. Ned Lamont’s administration and a top lawmaker said that won’t be a priority this session.
