The Substance Exposed Pregnancy Initiative of Connecticut (SEPI-CT) is hosting two in-person “Know Your Role: An Overview of CAPTA and Family Care Plans” trainings, with separate sessions for hospital providers and community providers. Both sessions are free and will be held at the Connecticut Women’s Consortium in Hamden.
Providers are encouraged to take advantage of this informative training to better understand the critical role they play in the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) and Family Care Plan (FCP) implementation. Federal and Connecticut legislative mandates require our systems of care to implement CAPTA and FCPs.
