CT Zero Suicide Learning Community Special Meeting

Employees of health and behavioral healthcare institutions and partnering organizations involved in continuous quality improvement to prevent suicide attended a special in-person meeting of the CT Zero Suicide Learning Community (CT ZSLC) on Wednesday, September 24, at the Connecticut Hospital Association (CHA) in Wallingford.

The meeting — held in recognition of National Suicide Prevention Month and 10 years of CT ZSLC — included a brief overview of the Zero Suicide approach, two educational panels, and a question-and-answer period.  Panelists included representatives from Connecticut Children’s, Hartford HealthCare’s Institute of Living, VA Connecticut Healthcare, and several behavioral health advocacy organizations.

CT ZSLC is an open group of the CT Suicide Advisory Board for health and behavioral healthcare providers and supportive community providers.
