USGS study: PFAS contamination likely in large swaths of state

A recent report by the US Geological Survey (USGS) shows that much of Connecticut’s public groundwater supply areas, including areas that provide water to the state’s largest cities, have a high probability of contamination by PFAS, also known as “forever chemicals.”
