WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — It’s a new era for cancer care in Connecticut as the state welcomes its very first proton center in Wallingford.

The Connecticut Proton Center is being hailed as an unprecedented collaboration between Hartford HealthCare, Yale New Haven Health and Proton International, the medical powerhouses partnering up to provide patients right here in the state one of the world’s most advanced forms of radiation therapy.
