Trumbull mom and 9-year-old son beat cancer, prepare for 10 mile Closer to Free ride

A mother and her 9-year-old son will be riding together in this year’s Closer to Free ride as cancer survivors.

Jacqueline Santacroce was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in April of 2024, and two months later her son Owen was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
