Report: SNAP benefits vanishing faster than CT officials expected

Nearly 63,000 Connecticut residents have lost federal nutrition benefits since Congress and President Donald Trump tightened eligibility last July — roughly double state officials’ projections, according to a new report Thursday from a New Haven-based social policy group.
