Lamont signs gun, homeschool bills that generated controversy during legislative session

HARTFORD, CT — Another 19 bills have received Gov. Ned Lamont’s signature, according to the bill notification list on Lamont’s official website.

Among the new laws are a pair of controversial measures that ban the sale of guns that can easily be converted to fire fully automatically, and another that establishes guidelines for parents that homeschool their children.
