Judiciary Committee advances bill with legal protections for gender-affirming care

HARTFORD, CT – Doctors who provide reproductive and gender-affirming care via telemedicine could gain some legal protections from out-of-state prosecution under a bill that advanced out of the legislative Judiciary Committee on Friday.

House Bill 7135 cleared the committee by a party-line vote after a 25-minute debate among committee members.
