Hartford students get firsthand experience in healthcare at Connecticut Children’s

HARTFORD, Conn. — A group of Hartford students received a firsthand look Tuesday at various jobs in health care at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

The opportunity is part of the second Future Healers Day for students from Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy.

The hospital partnered with the Southside Institutions Neighborhood Alliance for the program. About 20 juniors and seniors had the chance to explore Connecticut Children’s and learn about different departments such as anesthesiology, radiology, nursing and social work.
