In light of the results of last week’s election, the last thing Connecticut should do is make any adjustments to the way the state provides Medicaid to eligible residents, advocates said last week.
The Medical Assistance Program Oversight Council (MAPOC) held a meeting late last week about the state’s Medicaid program as part of an analysis to determine whether any adjustments need to be made. The state Department of Social Services (DSS) has contracted with Accenture and Manatt to help conduct what it’s calling a Medicaid Landscape Analysis.
