Connecticut sees jump in RSV, flu cases

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — With the holiday season coming to an end, doctors are seeing an uptick in viral infections.

Dr. Paul Anthony with Hartford Hospital is seeing more cases of RSV and pneumonia, which is common this time of year. There’s been a jump in hospitalizations caused by respiratory viral diseases, like RSV, the flu and COVID-19, according to data from the state health department.
