HARTFORD, Conn. — One mistake is all it takes to cause irreparable damage when it comes to misusing or improperly storing an over-the-counter medication.
As a reminder for community members to safely use and secure their medications, the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection issued a release on Friday.
It stressed the importance of securing over-the-counter medications like Benadryl, anti-diarrheals and cough syrups to prevent incidents of accidental ingestion and misuse.
