AHA, Epic launch postpartum program for hospitals

The American Hospital Association and Epic are teaming up to help hospitals reduce postpartum hemorrhage with EHR tools.

The Safer Births PPH Collaborative is a seven-month program featuring monthly, expert-led sessions with strategies, best practices and interactive forums, according to a Feb. 26 AHA news release. AHA and Epic staff will also host dedicated office hours for performance improvement support, personalized guidance and troubleshooting.
