348 healthcare organizations named Forbes’ best-in-state employers

A total of 348 healthcare organizations landed on Forbes‘ list of America’s Best Employers by State, published Aug. 13.

The eighth annual list was created by Forbes and market research firm Statista, which surveyed more than 245,000 employees who work for companies with at least 500 people in the U.S. Survey respondents shared insights on how likely they would recommend their employer and rated their workplaces on criteria such as wages and benefits, management style, flexibility and career advancement opportunities. The companies with the highest scores in each state made the list, and each state had between three and 101 employers, depending on the state size and responses received.
