22% of healthcare workers have hit ‘mid-career stall’: Study

More than 24% of mid-career U.S. professionals are employed but without a meaningful promotion or raise for five or more years — a phenomenon researchers call “mid-career stall” — according to a May report from the Burning Glass Institute and the NYU School of Professional Studies, supported by the Gates Foundation.
