A data presentation recently reviewed by the General Assembly’s Transforming Children’s Behavioral Health Policy and Planning Committee reveals that between January 2022 and September 2024 there were thousands of children classified as “stuck” in state emergency departments, writes Sarah Eagan, the executive director of the Center for Children’s Advocacy.
