‘Willful Ignorance’ — Tong joins opposition to new rule on asylum seekers

Attorney General William Tong has joined 20 other attorneys general in submitting a comment letter opposing the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s new immigration rule limiting affirmative asylum applicants’ opportunity to participate in an asylum officer interview and explain why they cannot safely return home.
