Connecticut crews get close-up demonstration of how LIFE STAR saves lives

LIFE STAR medical helicopters are in the air within minutes of a request, traveling at over 150 mph to get critical care patients the treatment they need. But how does it all get done?

The inner workings of this medical transport service were on display Tuesday at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury. Trinity Health of New England EMS partnered with Hartford HealthCare’s LIFE STAR team for a demonstration.
