Federal judge temporarily blocks Trump administration from Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program funding cuts

A federal judge issued a preliminary injunction (PDF) Wednesday against the Trump-Vance administration’s attempt to cut funding to the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program (TPPP).

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia temporarily blocked (PDF) the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) from implementing impending changes. The judge also ordered parties to submit a joint status report with a proposal schedule for further proceedings by Sept. 1.
