CT Working Families Party celebrates sweep in General Assembly races: ‘This wasn’t luck’

Of the 11 different state legislative races decided in Tuesday’s primary, the Connecticut Working Families Party endorsed five candidates, and all of them won.

Those winners include Maryam Khan in the 2nd Senate district, Jack Fazzino in the 13th Senate, Moise Carelus in the 31st House, Toni Lombardi in the 118th House, and Angie Parkinson in the 10th House.

CT WFP State Director Sarah Ganong, who was on hand to announce Khan’s victory in Hartford, said the results should put the legislature’s “corporate-aligned Moderate Caucus” on notice.
