AIM | Integrating Mental Health into OB-GYN Care To Expand Access to Timely, Evidence-Based Support – 8/26/2026
August 26, 2026 @ 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
FreeThe AIM Perinatal Mental Health Conditions Patient Safety Bundle calls on healthcare organizations to establish system for the timely identification, screening, and treatment of perinatal mental health conditions. This session will explore practical strategies for integrating behavioral health into OB-GYN care to improve timely access to evidence-based mental health support for patients. Using FamilyWell Health as an example of an integrated behavioral health model, participants will learn how technology-enabled care coordination, coaching, psychotherapy, reproductive psychiatry, and the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) can integrate into existing OB-GYN workflows. The session will also highlight referral pathways, interdisciplinary collaboration, clinical outcomes, and operational considerations—including sustainable reimbursement models—that support expanded access to behavioral healthcare for commercially insured and Medicaid populations.
