Hospitals See ‘Creative Accounting’ In New State Medicaid Proposals, But No Real Solutions

HARTFORD, CT – Hospitals across the state are crying foul over Gov. Ned Lamont’s budget proposal, in which they say his stated intention to increase Medicaid reimbursements and take other steps to help financially challenged hospitals reflects “creative accounting” that doesn’t fix the problems facing the state’s hospitals.
