In 2023, Connecticut hospitals:
- Provided care for 345,700 admitted patients, accounting for 1.97 million days of inpatient care
- Treated more than 1.5 million patients in their emergency departments
- Provided 9.5 million episodes of outpatient services to individuals
- Welcomed 35,500 babies into the world
