The Joint Commission has significantly overhauled its accreditation standards into the new Accreditation 360 program. Learn about these changes and how to operationalize them to stay compliant by joining hospital staff from across the state for a comprehensive, full-day, on-site conference.
This session will present details of the changes and provide actionable strategies to operationalize the new standards. The agenda also includes a detailed comparison of Accreditation 360 requirements with the CMS Conditions of Participation (CoPs), offering strategies to mitigate risks and comply with complex clinical and physical environment requirements.

Connecticut Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) Program Kick-Off Conference

The Office of Emergency Medical Services in the Department of Public Health is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications for approval of mobile integrated healthcare (MIH) programs from paramedic and EMS organizations.
MIH, sometimes known as community paramedicine, provides healthcare using patient-centered, mobile resources in and out of the hospital environment. Examples of MIH activities include, but are not limited to:
- Telephone advice instead of resource dispatch
- Chronic disease management
- Preventive care or post-discharge follow-up
- In-home hospital care/primary care
- Transfer or referral to care beyond hospital emergency departments
- Navigation to community-based care services
This conference is being held at CHA in Wallingford on Tuesday, February 10, with an option to join virtually via Zoom.
