CHA Volunteers Lend Their Hands at Girls Inc. for United Way Day of Caring

On Tuesday, September 9, the Connecticut Hospital Association (CHA) proudly participated in United Way of Meriden and Wallingford’s annual Day of Caring.  CHA staff volunteered at Girls Inc. of Meriden, cleaning the historic building’s grounds and landscaping trees, bushes, and flower beds around the property, and organizing materials and supplies.  Girls Inc. provides enriched afterschool programs to inspire and empower young women.

Through the Day of Caring, United Way of Meriden and Wallingford connects volunteers from local organizations with community nonprofit partners to complete indoor and outdoor projects.
