Save the Date: Governor’s Hospital Tax Proposal To Be Discussed at Public Hearing Next Week

The General Assembly’s Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 11 on the governor’s budget proposal, SB 84, An Act Concerning Revenue Items To Implement The Governor’s Budget.  The committee’s public hearing will provide an opportunity to discuss the governor’s hospital provider tax proposal and how an alternative approach can better maximize federal reimbursement under the provider tax program.  It is also an opportunity to provide testimony in support of the governor’s proposal to eliminate certain occupational license application and renewal fees.
