Monitoring Federal Executive Orders and Agency Directives

In its first weeks, the Trump administration has issued a broad series of executive orders and administrative actions that reinforce administration priorities.

The Connecticut Hospital Association (CHA) continues to review these administrative actions, as well as new activity, and examine how these actions could affect hospitals, health systems, patients, and communities.  This includes staying in close contact with the state on the potential impact of actions related to the freezing of federal aid — a federal directive that was issued and then rescinded this week.

CHA has expressed concern about protecting Medicaid funding and continues to monitor the federal activity around this issue very closely.

CHA will continue providing timely updates and communication to Connecticut healthcare providers throughout the presidential transition.
