State of the State of Connecticut Healthcare Previews Upcoming Legislative Session


The Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives (CTAHE) is hosting the 2025 State of the State event on Tuesday, January 14 at the Connecticut Hospital Association (CHA) in Wallingford.

Karen Buckley, vice president of advocacy, CHA, and Brian Cournoyer, director of government relations, CHA, will present on a variety of topics, including a review of the 2024 Legislative Session, expectations and policy goals for the 2025 Legislative Session, and an analysis of how the November election and incoming presidential administration may impact Connecticut hospitals.

Jim Iacobellis, senior adviser and former senior vice president of legislative and regulatory advocacy, CHA, also joins the panel discussion to share valuable insights on the future ahead.

CTAHE represents professionals who manage the business affairs of healthcare organizations throughout the state.  Organization membership comprises hospitals, health plans, health systems, independent physician associations, industry partners, and universities.  CTAHE is a chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), an international professional society of more than 40,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems, and other healthcare organizations.

The 2025 CTAHE State of the State of Connecticut Healthcare takes place from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 110 Barnes Road, Wallingford, Connecticut.
