The deadline to submit entries for the Connecticut Hospital Association (CHA) Annual Awards is next Wednesday, February 19.
This year, entries are being accepted through the CHA website. Entrants must be logged in to their CHA account to access the award submission webpages, which are linked below. For instructions on how to set up an account if you have not yet, click here.
- The John D. Thompson Award for Excellence in the Delivery of Healthcare is awarded to a hospital or health system for improvement in patient care through a modification of process substantiated by the use of data. Click here to view the John D. Thompson submission page and entry form
- The Connecticut’s Hospital Community Service Award recognizes a hospital or health system that has made an outstanding contribution to its community, particularly for a program or services targeted toward a specific segment of a hospital or healthcare system’s community. The presentation of the awards is an important component of the CHA Annual Meeting and a valuable opportunity to showcase Connecticut hospitals, health systems, and staff achievements. Winners will be honored at the CHA Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
