Yale researcher says Republican funding proposal could cost thousands of lives

The federal government shutdown on Oct. 1, and U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders from Vermont has warned that 50,000 Americans could die each year if Democrats agree to the removal of Affordable Care Act subsidies. That removal has been proposed by Republicans in their Continuing Resolution (CR) to fund the federal government.
