Urgent need for blood donations in Connecticut

CONNECTICUT (WTNH) — The Connecticut Blood Center (CTBC) officials Monday say they’re facing a “blood emergency.”

They said the state’s blood supply dropped to a two-day inventory, while a seven-day supply is typically needed to meet hospital needs.
