New bill could change how you get your takeout orders

A proposed bill in Connecticut would ban Styrofoam and restrict restaurants from providing plastic silverware unless a customer requests it.

Supporters say the measure would reduce waste. The Connecticut Hospital Association said it has concerns about the bill’s potential impact on medical facilities.
