Midstate Radiology Associates LLC has announced it is taking over radiology services at Windham Hospital.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
In a news release issued Friday, Midstate Radiology said it has taken over, effective immediately, the radiology services from Radiology Partners’ affiliate Jefferson Radiology at the hospital, which is located at 112 Mansfield Ave. in the Willimantic section of Windham.
Windham Hospital becomes the fifth hospital and 22nd location Meriden-based Midstate Radiology serves. It said a team of 57 board-certified radiologists and medical professionals will provide patient care and diagnostic reports.
It will offer a range of services, including low-dose digital X-ray, 3T MRI, CT scans, ultrasounds, 3D mammograms and cutting-edge interventional procedures.
Midstate added that the transition of services will be seamless, ensuring continuity of care for all patients at Windham Hospital.
Dr. Gary Dee, president of Midstate Radiology Associates, said his organization’s goal is to “enhance the quality of care and improve patient outcomes” at Windham Hospital.
