Kratom, six other substances now designated as Schedule I controlled substances in Connecticut

HARTFORD, Conn. — Kratom has officially been banned in Connecticut after it and several others were designated as schedule 1 controlled substances. In a press conference held Monday afternoon, Attorney General William Tong and the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection announced that the herbal substance, along with 7-OH, bromazolam, flubromazolam, nitazenes, tianeptine, and phenibut would all now fall under the designation.
