Disability advocates gather at state Capitol to launch CT Adapt, push back against Lamont’s proposed budget

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Advocates and community members on Thursday launched a newly-formed Connecticut chapter of a national disability rights organization.

The chapter, called “CT Adapt,” did not hold back, voicing concerns on Gov. Ned Lamont’s (D-Conn.) recent push to end a critical Medicaid program called “community first choice” in his budget proposal.
