Connecticut residents with sickle cell disease can be eligible for paid leave benefits

HARTFORD, Conn. — The Connecticut Paid Leave Authority said that paid leave benefits may be available to residents who are dealing with any one of a variety of ailments.

This week, in recognition of National Sickle Cell Awareness Month, the team at CT Paid Leave issued a reminder that paid leave benefits can be given to those living with sickle cell disease, or SCD.
